Happy thanksgiving!

Happy thanksgiving people! I know singapore do not celebrate thanksgiving, but they do in US.
But i'm off today on thanksgiving, which is kinda surprising. But it doesnt really matter to me since i i dont celebrate it and my friends are all working. So.... i'm staying at home the entire down. And... its a movie marathon the entire day!
I just watched twilight - breaking dawn part II yesterday at downtown disney. It was so good. But actually, out of the four series, i only watched twilight and breaking dawn part II. I wasn't quite a fan of it actually since i didn't read the book. I dont know if i ever said this, but i hate reading so much. After reading for a few mintues, i would totally lose track of the previous few pages that i've read. I prefer watching. Yeap so, i only watched twilight once when it was screened on TV, not even in the movie theatres. That was already some time later when new moon and maybe eclipse was out?
Okay i know i'm slow. And yesterday, my friend asked me if i want to catch the movie, so i just agreed. And it was so good. So today, i'm catching up on the other series that i've missed so that i can piece the entire storyline together. And now, i'm such a big fan of it woooohhoooooo!!!!

So actually, its not too bad to stay at home right? I mean, you get plenty of rest and... you just laze around on your bed, do whatever you like. Hmm, you don't always have to be outside on your off days?

Okay so... some updates about my life over here. Last monday, i went to the disney's christmas party at magic kingdom with my two friends. Its called mickey's very merry christmas. I'm sorry but i wouldn't say its awesome or something like what i've heard from others. Perhaps its because i went too early and i don't feel like its christmas at all.Yeah but anyway, here are some pictures!!

Anyway, i went to asian market yesterday and bought a whole load of stuff back. So many things i wanna eatttttt!
It's black friday tomorrow, a crazy sale in US. I have a 10 hours shift wth. I so wanna go and shop.
But i heard some of the stores actually started the sale today night. So, i may be going over to the premium outlet to check out wooooohhooooo shopping!!!! Even though i spent so much at asian market yesterday, but still, there's so many things i wanna get from premium outlet. I actually wanna buy some bags from here before i leave and bring it back to sg. But, if its really cheap during the sale, i might as well just get it now?
Alright, i'll see.
Okay, i'm gonna continue watching my movie. goodbye people! :D

"Surprise" 19th

This post came a little late, i'm so sorry but i have been busy.
Last week was crazy, i've got one assignment from ucr which requires 4 online postings, a quiz from ucr, sp e-log and two assignments from disney. I had such a hard time trying to rush through everything. This week should be much better i guess.
Okay, so my 19th birthday, i've got this "surprise" from my bunch of coursemates.
Its not really a surprise coz when sophia told me we are going to my friend's apartment for dinner, i knew something was wrong. Coz that night i ended work at 9.30, and it was already 10 plus. So he wouldnt ask us over for dinner at that timing for no reason. I pretended not to know anything so that i won't ruin the entire surprise.
Yup, so thanks to everyone. I was seriously feeling so down and depressed the day i woke up. It felt so super lonely, a really pathetic birthday. I kinda anticipated that, but when i woke up that day, it still feels really bad. You know, waking up in an empty apartment, being away from your friends, family and home, knowing that you are gonna spend your entire birthday working.
So thanks a lot to those who helped me celebrate my birthday. Though it was a mini and simple celebration, it meant a lot to me. My day didn't start off well, but it definitely ended off well.

And next... i wanna thank those who wished me personally, on fb or twitter.
It makes a difference to me coz this year, i am far away from singapore, it felt really heartwarming to receive those wishes.
And on the other hand, it also felt kinda disappointing coz some of the closest ones, did not. Some whom are really important to me, somehow, they didn't. Did they forgot about it? Too busy? Or don't think its a big deal? I dont know, and i rather not know.

And then, the next day after my birthday, i went to magic kingdom.
Went into this quick service restaurant. And one of the cast member said, " I can't help but notice something. Its your birthday today!" (Coz i was wearing a birthday button)
And he asked me how old am I. And he asked me if he could sing me a birthday song.
So obviously i said yes. And he gathered a few other colleagues and they start singing a birthday song for me. I mean its not a song, its more like a cheer. They were shouting out so damn loudly, tapping on the tables. Gosh, i was kinda embarrassed at first. But really, its a magic moment for a guest. I totally didn't expect it, but really, i felt so special for that moment.

And also, i don't know if i did mention this. At my workplace they have a board and they put down the october babies. But it doesnt have my name because i guess i'm new there. The other day i was with my colleague and i told her about it. She told me, "Well, just look out for the change on the board when you get back to work the next day."
I saw my birthday card on the board the next day, with wishes from the cast members from my icon group.
I was really touched. Really appreciated what my colleague has done for me. Isn't it so sweet of her?
But i didn't take out the card coz it was pinned on the board. Wanted to go and take it back today, but all the cards were gone! Gosh i hope the managers took it down and kept it. Hopefully its not thrown away. I wanna keep mine!!!!! Gonna ask from the managers tomorrow.
And also, there's this super cute manager of mine wished me happy birthday. OMG i was so damn happy seriously. Though he wished me after my birthday was over, and i think it was 5 days after my birthday, but.... i was still so damn happy about it lol.

Okay, so afterall, it wasnt really a bad one. On the brighter side, at least this year i got to spend my birthday with other people, spend it overseas. Its a blessed one.
