Merry christmas everyone!

Hello people, merry christmas!!!! Okay its two days' in advance actually.
But, my whole christmas week's schedule is crazy, thus i don't think i would be here to blog about it.
I have one day that i worked till 2am, two days working till 12am and the others day are till 10 - 11pm. Actually my shifts are not very long, they are short shifts but are all closing shift sigh.
But still, i'm glad that i can be celebrating my christmas in america, so i know i shouldnt complain.

So how's work? Hmm, i had a job rotation and am in quick service now. All i can say is, please everyone, be thankful and appreciate all those people working in quick service. When you go to McDonalds, KFC or whatever quick service restaurants, just say a "thank you" or at least a smile is much appreciated by us. Because working at quick service restaurants is VERY VERY TOUGH. I'm serious. I wished i was put to quick service then to merchandising, because merchandising is so slack, i feel that i'm dying in quick service, even with my previous experiences in food and beverage.

Really, you won't be able to imagine how tough it is to be standing infront of the fryers for hours, having to lift the heavy fryers and praying that it won't drop so that the oil wouldn't splatter on you, having to clean and wipe tables for others, having to stand infront of the oven waiting for the pizzas to be done and so on..... It's really not easy.
But still, at least now i know, quick service is so tough, i would appreciate all these when i'm back in Singapore. And perhaps, i wouldn't complain so much if i have to wait a little longer in lines.

Oh, and last week, i went to sat on a helicopter ride! Wow, it was my first time sitting on a helicopter. And really, it was such a good experience. The ride was so damn short though. I think we got cheated, they told us the ride is 5 mins, but in the end when we took a video it was only about 1min40sec? But still, its a good experience!

And... the other day, me and xj went resort hopping (only to one resort lol), and to two theme parks. It was a free and easy day but we had fun!

Okay anyway, did i mention that i'm going on cruise next month? Me and my other two roommates are going on disney cruise next january! SO EXCITED FOR IT!!!
Especially when i'm looking at the port activities. OMG I SO WANNA GO SNORKELLING. SHOULD I SHOULD I SHOULD I?
But both of my friends aren't interested, should i still go for it alone? But i really wanna try it, especially over here in america, the water is so clear and beautiful!!!
Okay i'm still thinking about it though.

3 months...

I've been here for about 3 months i guess? How fast time flies right? Today is the 2nd last day of work in merchandising for me, 2nd last day with my icon area. I know i'm not close with everyone, in fact there's still a lot of people in my workplace whom i hardly even talk to. But there are just some poeple who have been so nice to me that makes me feel sad knowing that i won't get to work with them anymore. I'm still gonna be working in hollywood studios though, just that i will be going to another location for quick service, with that costume :(

Okay, so some updates about me. Went to animal kingdom last week and enjoyed myself so much. I love animal kingdom, it feels like singapore zoo! Hahaha just that there are rides there! And it feels so different from other theme parks. You get so close to the wildlife. I especially loved the safari when we sat in a truck and go around to see the animals! Okay let the pictures do the talking.

Okay, this is the christmas tree right at the entrance of animal kingdom! Its really nice at night, there are alot of animals on the tree btw.

Okay, and the safari ride!!! I think these are hippos if im not wrong.

And this is us in the 3D glasses @ its tough to be a bug. That's one of the attraction in animal kingdom. Its like a 4D show with 3D and 4D effects. Seems like there's bugs crawling all over you, from behind and under the chair. I was so disgusted by it, so i put my bag right behind me so that i can't feel it. And i folded up my legs and lifted it above the ground so no bugs can crawl over my legs. In the end i went into the attraction but i didn't feel anything. Omg what a timid girl i am!

Oh oh oh!! And did i mention that i got a christmas tree in my apartment? Me and my two other apartment mates decided to buy a christmas tree from walmart. Not too expensive, $45. I know its kind of like a waste of money, coz we got to throw it away after that. But.... its still fun coz we don't really decorate our house with christmas tree/ ornaments in singapore!

When we buy it, its all inside the box and we have to build it up ourselves. So here's the process!!!

Yay!!! Pretty christmas tree when we off the lights in the apartment!

Now we are all ready for christmas!!!


Okay, and anyway, let me continue. After going to animal kingdom that day, we rush back to our apartment to prepare for winter formal. Its a dinner and its an event for all the CPs and ICPs. If i didn't mention this before, we actually have events every month hosted by Disney housing. They have all these events specially for the college program and international college program students.

And.... i went to hollywood studios just a few days ago to see the obsorne family spectacle of dancing lights.
It was so awesome! I saw it once for the first day it was up, during a private celebration in hollywood. SOOOOO GOOD COZ I WAS DRIVING THE ECV UP STREETS OF AMERICA AND ENJOYING THE MAGNIFICENT VIEW OF IT.

Happy thanksgiving!

Happy thanksgiving people! I know singapore do not celebrate thanksgiving, but they do in US.
But i'm off today on thanksgiving, which is kinda surprising. But it doesnt really matter to me since i i dont celebrate it and my friends are all working. So.... i'm staying at home the entire down. And... its a movie marathon the entire day!
I just watched twilight - breaking dawn part II yesterday at downtown disney. It was so good. But actually, out of the four series, i only watched twilight and breaking dawn part II. I wasn't quite a fan of it actually since i didn't read the book. I dont know if i ever said this, but i hate reading so much. After reading for a few mintues, i would totally lose track of the previous few pages that i've read. I prefer watching. Yeap so, i only watched twilight once when it was screened on TV, not even in the movie theatres. That was already some time later when new moon and maybe eclipse was out?
Okay i know i'm slow. And yesterday, my friend asked me if i want to catch the movie, so i just agreed. And it was so good. So today, i'm catching up on the other series that i've missed so that i can piece the entire storyline together. And now, i'm such a big fan of it woooohhoooooo!!!!

So actually, its not too bad to stay at home right? I mean, you get plenty of rest and... you just laze around on your bed, do whatever you like. Hmm, you don't always have to be outside on your off days?

Okay so... some updates about my life over here. Last monday, i went to the disney's christmas party at magic kingdom with my two friends. Its called mickey's very merry christmas. I'm sorry but i wouldn't say its awesome or something like what i've heard from others. Perhaps its because i went too early and i don't feel like its christmas at all.Yeah but anyway, here are some pictures!!

Anyway, i went to asian market yesterday and bought a whole load of stuff back. So many things i wanna eatttttt!
It's black friday tomorrow, a crazy sale in US. I have a 10 hours shift wth. I so wanna go and shop.
But i heard some of the stores actually started the sale today night. So, i may be going over to the premium outlet to check out wooooohhooooo shopping!!!! Even though i spent so much at asian market yesterday, but still, there's so many things i wanna get from premium outlet. I actually wanna buy some bags from here before i leave and bring it back to sg. But, if its really cheap during the sale, i might as well just get it now?
